To Mr. Greer

I just wanted to say a little something about a man named Frank Greer. He was one of my 6th grade teachers, he coached me in basketball, and he taught me a lot more than he will ever know. He has been a great part of my growing up and I can't thank him enough for all he taught me and all of his love he has always shared. He always has a smile to give and a warm hug!

A Few Things I learned-
*What the difference is between the gum chewing girl and the cud chewing cow!
*Nicknames are easier to remember than the real name like Little Sister, Skeeter, etc.
*McDonalds is NOT my favorite place to eat and even if we stop there EVERY trip that won't change
*Team work
*Love of the game
*Unconditional love
*Respect
*The important thing

I just wanted to say publicly Thank you. You are a great example and I appreciate all that you have taught me! I love you and I am praying for you!

Love,
Little Sister

Frank says thanks so much for the kind words. He has always thought a lot of you and your sisters. He enjoys seeing you and what a good little mother you are. His days of coaching/teaching are some of his best memories.

I cannot thank him enough for putting up with all of my children in one capacity or another. How they love him. Besides that...he was a great Bishop, school teacher, coach, principal, gospel doctrine and essentials instructor, friend...just an all around great man. Azure said she wrote way to many sentences for herself and Aubrey. She said "I always got in trouble for popping my gum and it wasn't always me." She always laughed when she said it. Benjamin loved having Frank and Dawna as a senior class chaperones. They also chaperoned on PFUSA trips. We have a lot of fun telling the stories from those trips. When my dad died they even helped us to get to Texas. You are great people and we love you. All of my children have such respect and love for Mr. Greer. And a select few of us have seen the turkey in flight (the good ole days). How we love you and hope that you can maintain your health. Our prayers are with you.

Way to make me cry:( Seriously not cool:)
It's nice to hear that he is in others thoughts and prayers. It is hard to maintain perspective when you just want him around in this life for a very long time. It's hard on a daddys girl:)

I laughed out loud when you talked about you and Azure's gum smacking:) haha good memories.

I can add to that. I know he loves Shania Twain and would crank it up in the van every time she came on. Oh how I love him too. Even if he did call me. Short stuff, twinkle toes and short legs. Not very favorite nick names, but I will never forget him and how fun he was as a coach.
